JEFG Board
JEFG is comprised of representatives from all the schools in Bergen County and a lay leader Board of Directors who work with communal rabbinic leadership and local and national organizations, such as the OU, Yeshiva University, AVI CHAI Foundation, Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey, and the RCBC, in order to establish broad-based communal support to develop long-term transformational solutions. All member school Principals are ad hoc members of the Board and are invited to attend meetings. Each school has one vote and majority rules.
JEFG has one part-time employee. All others involved are volunteers from within the community – both current and former day school parents – who devote countless hours to finding and implementing solutions.
